EZproxy: Home

What is EZproxy

EZproxy is a proxy server which allows you to access library subscribed (paid) resources online, even if you are off campus. With EZproxy, you can use subscribed e-Books, e-Journals, and library databases remotely, signing into our secure network with your email and password.

No configuration on your device is required to use EZproxy. When you select a resource from the library’s websites or discovery service, EZproxy automatically recognizes when you’re outside of our network and prompts you to log in. EZproxy is transparent for on-campus users.

What is Included

EZproxy provides access to subscribed resources:

  • Databases, such as UpToDate, AccessMedicine, Scopus, and others
  • e-Journals, such as JAMA
  • e-Books

How To Use EZproxy

EZproxy automatically detects when you are off campus whenever you attempt to access a subscribed resource from the library’s website.

For example:

1. Click on any library resource (e.g., ProQuest) at

2. If you are outside of the WCM-Q network, you will receive a prompt from EZproxy. Enter your full WCM-Q email address and password. Then you can choose whether you'd like to stay signed in so that the browser remembers your login.

3. You will be automatically redirected to the resource you initially selected.
